Amazing stories

Every animal in the stories that follow faced a moment when survival seemed impossible. Broken, bleeding, or abandoned, they arrived at BARC clinging to life. Without intervention, their stories would have ended in suffering and almost certain death. But through expert medical care and loving attention, BARC gave each of these animals a second chance.   What follows are their stories—testaments to the extraordinary courage and will to live that burns in every creature’s heart, and to the compassionate treatment that made their survival possible.
