- BARC receives a substantial donation of surplus medicine, thereby significantly reducing expenditure for medicine.
Organizational performance accountability
- The annual financial accounts of BARC are audited by the Royal Audit Authority of Bhutan. BARC has received a clean sheet on all accounts from 2014 onwards.
- BARC is since 2023 subjected to an annual organizational performance audit from the Bhutan Civil Society Organization Authority.
- We publish Annual Reports on the work we have done and how the donated funds have been used.
- Our best performance accountability is, however, through the happiness of the animals we manage to save and the gladness of the people who bring injured and sick animals for our care
